Travis Scott‘s highly-anticipated compilation album JACKBOYS 2 could be set to drop as soon as this week.
As part of an Instagram post wishing his mother a happy birthday, Scott teased that fans could have her to thank for the imminent arrival of JACKBOYS 2.
He wrote: “EVERYONE WISH THE BIGGEST GOAT A HAPPYYYY BDAAAYYY THE QUEEEEN OF DIS HERE. MI MOMMMMMMMAAAAAAA LOVE YA MOOMMMMMMAAAAAAAAAAA PS I PLAYED HERE JACKBOYS 2 SHE SAID DROP ON YOUR BDAY BABY JACK. !!!!!”
As fans may know, Scott’s birthday is April 30 (this Wednesday), meaning JACKBOYS 2 could just be 48 hours away if La Flame listens to his mother.
Scott has been teasing his label’s second compilation album heavily in recent weeks.
He recently wrote on social media: “Jackboys album brazy. I just threw up. Certified.”
Scott also said that he would be dropping the album before he went back to WWE, where he has been heavily involved of late.
Taking to Instagram with photos of his appearance at WrestleMania 41, Travis captioned them, “I DONT WANT A RECEIPT I WANT BLOOOODDD AFTER JACKBOYS 2 I NEEEEEDDD THAT.”
The first JACKBOYS album dropped at the end of 2019 and went straight to the top of the Billboard 200.
The seven-track project reached No. 1 by selling 154,000 album equivalent units, according to Nielsen Music. 79,000 of those copies came from pure album sales, but Billboard notes a majority of these sales came from merchandise/album bundles.
The album featured JACKBOYS artists Sheck Wes, Don Toliver and DJ Chase B as well as outside artists such as Young Thug, Quavo, Offset and Pop Smoke.
Scott also recently unveiled fresh solo music as part of his historic performance at Coachella earlier this month.
During the performance, he debuted a new song tentatively titled “She Goin Dumb” while the screens behind him displayed the message “New Shittttt.”
Scott later premiered another new track reportedly called “Oh Jacques,” with both songs continuing the rager aesthetic of his chart-topping Utopia album.
Travis did not reveal which album the two new songs will feature on, although he has teased both a new solo project and a second Jackboys compilation from his Cactus Jack label.

Charli xcx has added the Music, Fashion, Film B sides “I Keep On Thinking Bout You Every Single Day and Night,” “Playboy Bunny” and “If You Take the Music Then What Has She Got?” to iTunes through a new digital deluxe release titled Music, Fashion, Film (B-Sides Edition).
The three tracks had already been introduced to listeners through Charli’s @b.sides alternative Instagram account. They also appeared as physical B sides on limited edition 7 inch singles for “Rock Music,” “SS26” and “Camera,” as well as in an extensive Music, Fashion, Film box set. However, fans were unable to officially buy them as digital downloads until Sunday, July 26.
Charli previously told her audience that the songs were “never gonna go on streaming … I don’t think,” although she admitted at the time that her decision might eventually change.
“you can call me a hypocrite, i don’t mind,” Charli wrote alongside a winking emoji while announcing Music, Fashion, Film (B-Sides Edition) on Sunday.
Priced at $4.99 on iTunes, the digital collection features all 11 songs from the original Music, Fashion, Film album, along with the three additional B sides and their accompanying music videos.
Explaining her choice further on Instagram, Charli wrote: “i made b sides for each of the songs released ahead of Music, Fashion, Film because it felt natural to pair each songs with a fitting counterpart – something that’s adjacent to the album but not entirely part of it. traditionally, b sides often become fan favorites… and i guess in the case of some of the b sides for this album, that has proven to be true. i felt adamant i wouldn’t put them on streaming because it sort of felt counter intuitive to the whole ethos of those songs, but i know you all really wanted them so i’ve begrudgingly put them on itunes lol.”
Music, Fashion, Film was released on Friday, accompanied by the online premiere of the theatrical short film Charli developed to complement the project.
She will begin a short North American tour supporting Music, Fashion, Film in Philadelphia on Sept. 11. The run will then visit Brooklyn, Toronto, Boston, Washington, D.C., Atlanta, San Diego, Los Angeles, Glendale and Las Vegas.
