Perry Farrell has released another public apology following an on-stage confrontation involving his bandmate Dave Navarro.
The Jane's Addiction frontman was involved in a physical altercation with guitarist Dave Navarro last year during a live performance, an incident that prompted the band to cancel their reunion tour and eventually led to their split.
“I'd like to address what happened on stage last year,” Perry, 66, said in a statement shared across both his personal Instagram account and Jane's Addiction’s official page. “I've reflected on it and know I didn't handle myself the way I should have. I apologize to our patrons and my bandmates for losing my temper and for disrupting the show.”
He went on to admit that he did not meet fan expectations and described himself as deeply remorseful toward everyone impacted by the incident.
“Jane's Addiction has been at the center of my life for decades. The band, the songs, the patrons, and the impact that we've had on music and culture mean more to me than any words I could ever possibly write down,” he shared.
“My aim has always been to give our audience the best possible show, something real, honest and positive. In Boston, we fell short of that, and I'm truly sorry to everyone who was impacted.”
Jane's Addiction also issued its own statement regarding the altercation, which ultimately led to the group’s remaining members filing a lawsuit against Perry alleging assault, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, negligence, breach of fiduciary duty, and breach of contract.
“Today we are here to announce that we have come together one last time to resolve our differences, so that the legacy of Jane's Addiction will remain the work the four of us created together,” the band wrote, signaling that the group would not move forward with Perry. “We now look forward to the future as we embark on our separate musical and creative endeavors.”
Rapper Future has now been formally embraced by Louis Vuitton, stepping into the fashion house’s inner circle with the official title of Friend of the House. The announcement solidifies a bond that has been developing quietly over time and now feels firmly established under the creative leadership of Pharrell Williams.
For Louis Vuitton, this move signals an ongoing focus on culture as much as heritage. For Future, it reinforces his status as more than a hitmaking rapper, acknowledging an impact that has long reached past music alone.
His fashion choices are deliberate, bold, and self assured, frequently influencing trends rather than reacting to them. That approach closely reflects the path Louis Vuitton has followed in recent years, particularly since Pharrell took the helm.
The house has increasingly embraced contemporary voices that shape culture as it happens, and Future naturally aligns with that direction. The partnership also underscores just how closely hip hop and high fashion are now connected.
What once appeared to be a distant or external relationship has evolved into something central to how luxury brands stay relevant. Future brings credibility to the space, not just attention, representing a generation drawn to originality, ambition, and constant progression.
Holding the title of "Friend of the House" goes beyond a single moment or appearance. It implies continuity, mutual inspiration, and an ongoing creative relationship.
As Louis Vuitton continues to define its future through storytelling rooted in culture, Future stands out as a clear reflection of how modern luxury is shaped by artists who move with intention and confidence.
Future’s connection with Louis Vuitton has deepened over time through public outings, runway appearances, and consistent front row presence. His look comes across as relaxed yet purposeful, blending high fashion with a grounded street influence.
With Pharrell guiding the brand, Louis Vuitton has expanded its circle to include artists who actively drive culture forward. Future fits seamlessly within that vision.
This designation represents confidence and creative alignment rather than a simple endorsement. It also suggests future collaborations that feel natural and considered, highlighting how today’s luxury brands succeed by backing voices that lead rather than follow.
