The Weeknd has set off a wave of curiosity among fans who believe he may have recorded something with Lady Gaga.

The Timeless singer cleared out his Instagram feed and then shared an old photo of the Poker Face star on his Instagram Story on Thursday (11.12.25).

In the picture, Gaga is posing in front of a black Lexus with a license plate that reads LADYGAGA. The image goes back to her The Fame era in the late 2000s.

He did not include any caption, which left people wondering what the post might mean.

About a year ago, listeners suspected that The Weeknd would appear on Gaga's most recent album, Mayhem, although the project arrived in March without a joint track.

Elsewhere, a person who has previously stormed the stage during one of The Weeknd's concerts was removed from a Lady Gaga performance, just weeks after being jailed for approaching Ariana Grande.

Last month, 26-year-old online prank creator Johnson Wen, who uses the name Pyjama Man on Instagram, received a nine day sentence after running toward Grande at a Wicked: For Good red carpet event in Singapore.

He has now been taken out of Gaga's latest show at Brisbane's Suncorp Stadium.

In clips posted by other fans attending the Mayhem Ball performance, the Australian was seen speaking to security staff before being escorted from the venue.

The concert had not begun when he was asked to leave, and no one knows what he intended to do.

On his own Instagram Story, Wen wrote: "Got kicked out of Lady Gaga concert!"

He added: "The show doesn't start till 8pm! The early fans were booing me."

In the past, he has gained attention for crashing stages at performances by artists such as The Weeknd, The Chainsmokers and Katy Perry.

Last month, he climbed over a security barrier, rushed toward Grande and put his arm around the Wicked actress before security and her co-star Cynthia Erivo stepped in.

He admitted guilt to one count of creating a public disturbance and was given a nine day jail term.

According to Singapore's English-langauge newspaper the Straits Times, he was placed on a flight out of the country on November 23 and is not allowed to return.

Prosecutors described Pyjama Man as a "serial intruder", and the judge concluded that he had orchestrated the moment in an effort to gain attention online.

The red carpet gatecrasher had spoken about his intentions before the event.

He said: "I feel like I'm in a dream."

He continued: "That's my best friend Ariana Grande and I'm going to meet her. I've been dreaming about that."

Perry Farrell has released another public apology following an on-stage confrontation involving his bandmate Dave Navarro.

The Jane's Addiction frontman was involved in a physical altercation with guitarist Dave Navarro last year during a live performance, an incident that prompted the band to cancel their reunion tour and eventually led to their split.

“I'd like to address what happened on stage last year,” Perry, 66, said in a statement shared across both his personal Instagram account and Jane's Addiction’s official page. “I've reflected on it and know I didn't handle myself the way I should have. I apologize to our patrons and my bandmates for losing my temper and for disrupting the show.”

He went on to admit that he did not meet fan expectations and described himself as deeply remorseful toward everyone impacted by the incident.

“Jane's Addiction has been at the center of my life for decades. The band, the songs, the patrons, and the impact that we've had on music and culture mean more to me than any words I could ever possibly write down,” he shared.

“My aim has always been to give our audience the best possible show, something real, honest and positive. In Boston, we fell short of that, and I'm truly sorry to everyone who was impacted.”

Jane's Addiction also issued its own statement regarding the altercation, which ultimately led to the group’s remaining members filing a lawsuit against Perry alleging assault, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, negligence, breach of fiduciary duty, and breach of contract.

“Today we are here to announce that we have come together one last time to resolve our differences, so that the legacy of Jane's Addiction will remain the work the four of us created together,” the band wrote, signaling that the group would not move forward with Perry. “We now look forward to the future as we embark on our separate musical and creative endeavors.”
