Drake has had plenty of difficulties lately, but one aspect of his life that seems intact is his friendship with Lil Yachty — as could been seen when the two of them playfully exchanged insults on Instagram this week.

On Thursday (March 13), Drizzy posted a photo to Instagram of himself with his arms crossed, dressed in a sleeveless sweater and white pants. Yachty quickly jumped into the comments to write: “u look like a geenie.”

Drake clapped back, saying: “you look like Jason Derulo artsy brother.”

In other Drake news, he has randomly declared that he wants to be a guest on the podcast TANKSGODPOD, which he has hailed as “the only pod that matters.”

The show, which is hosted by Eastern European fashion model Luda Podgorna and an Italian woman named Elena De Napoli (both of whom appear to be in their early 20s), has next to no online presence and just over 100 followers on Instagram.

Using his burner Instagram account, @plottttwistttttt, on Wednesday (March 12), Drizzy posted two clips from the podcast in which the hosts play a game of “Would You Rather?”

He added in his caption: “PL$$$ INVITE ME ON THE ONLY POD THAT MATTERS.”

Drake, who has largely refrained from media interviews in recent years but did controversially appear on Bobbi Althoff’s podcast in 2023, also posted a separate photo of Podgorna, who he follows on Instagram on his main account.

However, the picture was shared with no caption or explanation.

It is not known what Drake’s association with TANKSGODPOD or its hosts is given the show is not currently available on Spotify or other platforms.

Fans were left asking similar questions in the comments section, with one commenting: “What the fuck is this.”

Another unimpressed user wrote: “A white podcast of course,” while someone else added: “It be hard to defend u aubrey.”

Drake’s curious love of TANKSGODPOD hearkens back to comments made by Joe Budden about Drake pandering to young women.

Budden said on his own podcast in 2023 following the release of the 6 God’s For All the Dogs album: “[Drake is] rapping for the children. I had to look up how old this n-gga was when I finished listening to the album.

“You gonna be 37 years old. Get the fuck away from some of these younger n-ggas, and stop fucking these 25-year-olds […] Why are you still fucking the 25-year-olds? You’re a 37-year-old billionaire.”

Perry Farrell has released another public apology following an on-stage confrontation involving his bandmate Dave Navarro.

The Jane's Addiction frontman was involved in a physical altercation with guitarist Dave Navarro last year during a live performance, an incident that prompted the band to cancel their reunion tour and eventually led to their split.

“I'd like to address what happened on stage last year,” Perry, 66, said in a statement shared across both his personal Instagram account and Jane's Addiction’s official page. “I've reflected on it and know I didn't handle myself the way I should have. I apologize to our patrons and my bandmates for losing my temper and for disrupting the show.”

He went on to admit that he did not meet fan expectations and described himself as deeply remorseful toward everyone impacted by the incident.

“Jane's Addiction has been at the center of my life for decades. The band, the songs, the patrons, and the impact that we've had on music and culture mean more to me than any words I could ever possibly write down,” he shared.

“My aim has always been to give our audience the best possible show, something real, honest and positive. In Boston, we fell short of that, and I'm truly sorry to everyone who was impacted.”

Jane's Addiction also issued its own statement regarding the altercation, which ultimately led to the group’s remaining members filing a lawsuit against Perry alleging assault, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, negligence, breach of fiduciary duty, and breach of contract.

“Today we are here to announce that we have come together one last time to resolve our differences, so that the legacy of Jane's Addiction will remain the work the four of us created together,” the band wrote, signaling that the group would not move forward with Perry. “We now look forward to the future as we embark on our separate musical and creative endeavors.”
