Nicki Minaj may not have remembered to send Happy Father’s Day wishes to her husband, Kenneth Petty, but she quickly made up for her forgetfulness.

Taking to her TikTok on Sunday (June 18), the “Starships” rapper posted a video where she wrote, “when u forget it’s father’s day, so you gotta convince them that you got them something that’s sittin’ in the closet. Nah! Happy father’s day to all the great dads out there!”

In the video, Minaj can be seen cat-calling her husband, telling him that he’s “sexy as fuck with that scarf on,” and Petty protesting about his wife filming the whole scenario.

Check out the video below.

While Nicki Minaj certainly took the time to show her husband some much-needed love, Kenneth Petty has his own set of problems — and no shortage thereof.

Back in April, Thomas Weidenmuller — a security guard who first sued the couple in 2022 for an assault that allegedly happened during a Nicki Wrld Tour show in Frankfurt, Germany, back in 2019 — made a motion for the court to grant a default judgment in his favor, since the Pettys have failed to respond to the suit.

Weidenmuller, who is suing the couple for $753,000, has already been granted a default judgment against the “Super Freaky Girl” rapper. However, he has not yet obtained a default judgment against Minaj’s husband.

According to Weidenmuller, the alleged skirmish happened when a fan breached the security barricade and got onstage while the Pink Friday rapper was putting on her show. Though Minaj’s personal security team managed to escort the fan offstage less than 15 seconds later, Minaj and Petty allegedly confronted Weidenmuller and his team about the incident after the show.

Nicki Minaj then allegedly called a female security guard on Weidenmuller’s team a “fucking bitch” and began blasting her live on social media. That’s when Weidenmuller stepped in and escorted the female security guard away from the situation. He claims he then went to Minaj’s dressing room to address the issue and Petty allegedly punched him in the face as Minaj began cursing.

Weidenmuller also alleged that Minaj directed Petty to attack him, thus prompting the suit for “battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and negligence,” per the outlet.

This isn’t the first time that Kenneth Petty has landed Nicki Minaj in hot water by association. Back in December 2022, Petty was ordered to settle his ongoing lawsuit with Jennifer Hough, who accused him of harassing her in an attempt to curtail her rape allegation against him.

Hough initially sued Nicki Minaj as well, claiming the rapper took part in trying to intimidate her, although those charges were eventually dropped.

KATSEYE have officially begun a fresh chapter with the announcement of their forthcoming single, Pinky Up.

The K-pop girl group sparked curiosity online after sharing a string of mysterious posts that quickly had fans trying to piece together the clues.

The first teaser, posted on March 30, featured the Mona Lisa gently raising a hot cup of tea with her pinky finger lifted. The next video, uploaded the next day, showed an arcade claw machine labeled with the group’s name pulling a sword from a mix of sparkling plush toys and a single teacup. Making things even more intriguing, the caption stated: “We’re screaming from cloud nine!!”

Their third update finally revealed the song title along with its cover art. The image showed a figure kneeling on a rug next to a teacup and a toy cat, while the title appeared in bright hot pink text across the visual. The group also confirmed the release date as April 9.

Pinky Up will arrive just one day before KATSEYE appear at Coachella on April 10, which will mark their first time performing at the famous festival.

The single also marks their first comeback since HYBE and Geffen confirmed that member Manon Bannerman would be stepping away for a period of time to prioritize her “health and well being.”

In a message posted on Weverse, they shared: "Hello. After open and thoughtful conversations together, we are sharing that Manon will be taking a temporary hiatus from group activities to focus on her health and wellbeing."

The group expressed that they “fully support this decision,” and added: “KATSEYE remains committed to showing up for one another and for the fans who mean everything to us. We look forward to being together again when the time is right.”

While she is away, the group will continue promotions with Daniela Avanzini, Lara Raj, Megan Skiendiel, Sophia Laforteza and Yoonchae Jeung.

They closed their message by saying: “Thank you to our EYEKONS for your continued love, patience, and understanding.”
