Artist On The Rise: What inspired you to pursue a career in music, and how did you initially discover your passion for creating music?
Lil Nico: What inspired me to pursue my music career would have to be the love that I have for music cause without that it wouldn't be possible, And I found my passion for making music at the age of 9 years old from the moment I got behind the mic.

Lil Nico: My creative process isn't really too complex. Honestly I usually just pick a beat that I like and record, I let the beat talk to me. What it makes me feel like is how I approach it. And a way I"ve been trying to maintain consistency is just everyday work on a new song or beat or whatever it is I'm doing just making sure I'm being productive with my music you know make sure to get things done.

Lil Nico: I feel like the people I look up to in the music industry have influenced me to learn how to make good music by studying their art, they also influenced me to find my own voice in music.

Lil Nico: I just keep my focus on the music because if the music is good then the audience will eventually come with it.

Lil Nico: I use instagram the most to promote my music. You can follow me @officiallilnico, Everytime I post a song I post it on instagram to promote it and get my fans take on it.

Lil Nico: I honestly don't mind collabing with other artists. My experiences haven't been the best but I don't mind collaborating with other artists.

Lil Nico: I budget when it comes to music videos and promotional purposes but I also got a job that I use to invest in my music career.

Lil Nico: I take criticism and negative feedback pretty well. I think it's crucial that people are blunt when giving feedback so people can work on their own craft.
