From the Bay Area to Fort Worth, Texas, Ganksta C is making his name well known across the entire country. Not only have his songs been streamed over 100K times, and he has a national tour under his belt, this rapper’s music has a deeper purpose than just entertaining.

For years, music has always meant something to Ganksta, but over time, it’s been shown in different ways. Coming from a large background of dancing, he quickly gravitated towards producing beats of his own. One day, when jamming out to a beat that he produced himself, Ganksta then began to freestyle rap, not holding anything back. And the rest is history.

The now Texas-based rapper has always had a large inspiration standing right with him to encourage him towards his rapping career; and that is the one and only Ron C. An established artist himself, Ganksta always knew that it was possible. 

“When I first got into the violence that was occuring in my neighborhood, that pushed me to work even harder towards my music,” he said. “Not only did I know that that wasn’t what I wanted for myself, I didn’t want to let down the people I love.” 

And now that he has achieved great success in his career, he wants to pass that along to future generations.

Ganksta expressed the fact that coming from a negative community,, he was horrified at the sight of seeing young boys throwing their lives away. His pledge is to change stereotypes placed in the music industry. In contrast to someone who sees an artist from a bad neighborhood and turns them away, Ganksta wants to focus on their music alone; not their social status. He believes that there are so many talented young rappers out today that have not been given the chance in the limelight. We are so glad that he has recognized this, and is focused on making his career one of the greats.

Now, fans of the rapper will be excited to note that he is back in the studio with plans of dropping new hits as soon as possible. With a producing background, and music inspiration from both his brother and the East Coast, there really is no limit on what Ganksta can do. Not only are we excited to put his upcoming music on our playlists, but we are excited to see what his impact can have on our future.
