Cardi B has announced that Janet Jackson, Selena Gomez, and Lizzo will appear on her upcoming album Am I the Drama?.

The “WAP” hitmaker partnered with Spotify on Monday (September 15, 2025) to reveal more of the artists featured on her highly anticipated second album, which arrives this Friday (September 19).

Taking to social media, Cardi asked fans: “WHO ELSE IS THE DRAMA?”

Her lineup of collaborators also includes Megan Thee Stallion, Kehlani, and Tyla.

Cardi has yet to share the official tracklist, but the project is expected to feature several reunions. She previously linked up with Kehlani on “Ring” from her 2018 debut Invasion of Privacy.

The “Bodak Yellow” rapper also joined Selena on DJ Snake’s viral hit “Taki Taki” back in 2018 and worked with Lizzo on “Rumors” in 2021.

In recent weeks, Cardi has been stepping up promotion for her new release, even hitting the streets of New York to build excitement ahead of the drop.

During an appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show, the 32-year-old star shared: “I am so overwhelmed… It’s like I’m pushing another baby. It was fully finished, and this is exactly what’s been missing out there. I touched on everything I wanted to cover.”

Cardi recently explained that the reason she waited seven years for a follow-up was because she is “very picky.”

Speaking to Billboard, the “Money” rapper said: “I always knew I was going to release a second album, I just didn’t have a project that felt complete. My fans would say, ‘Oh, you should have dropped a project when WAP and Up were out,’ but I only had four songs that I really liked. I didn’t have a full album ready at that time. I’m not the type to lock in for two months and call it done. I’m very selective with my music.”

She added, “I want to put out the whole project because I’ve got so many songs. I recorded 60 tracks. Every other day, I feel like a different person, and I change my mind about everything. My team always says, ‘We hope you don’t change your mind about your songs.’ But I’m like, ‘Nope, I’m sure now.’”

Although Cardi admits she makes more money performing live than from her records, she said she wasn’t going to rush her second release just to cash in on a tour.

She explained: “A lot of people think I got too comfortable because I make money, but my biggest paychecks come from shows. I could easily rush out music and then pull in millions for each performance, but that’s not what I want. I want the music to be solid. I want it to be unforgettable.”

The estate of Prince has shared a previously unheard recording of “With This Tear,” a track the late icon originally wrote before passing it on to Celine Dion in the early 1990s.

The newly revealed version, released through NPG Records and Legacy Recordings, presents Prince’s own recording of the piano driven ballad, fully written, produced and performed by him. It was initially recorded at Paisley Park in November 1991 and had stayed in the vault until now.

Dion’s interpretation of “With This Tear” was included on her 1992 self titled album, highlighting one of many moments where Prince created songs for other artists while holding back his own versions. His original recording feels more minimal, putting the focus on his vocals and piano arrangement.

The newly issued version has been given an updated mix by Grammy nominated producer Chris James, who has worked on several Prince related releases before. This drop is part of the Prince Estate’s ongoing effort to open up more of his deep archive of unreleased music.

The release arrives at a meaningful moment, just ahead of the 10th anniversary of Prince’s passing. Since 2016, a consistent flow of archival material including deluxe reissues, vault recordings and rare collaborations has kept his legacy active in today’s music landscape while offering a closer look at how much he created.

“With This Tear” also highlights Prince’s long established role as a songwriter for others. Across his career, he wrote and produced tracks for a wide range of artists, often shaping songs that evolved into entirely new identities outside his own discography.

The release comes amid growing attention around Prince’s archive in recent years. In 2024, a demo of “Baby Doll,” an unreleased collaboration between Prince and Kylie Minogue, surfaced online and showed just how much material still remains unheard.

While there has been no official confirmation of a larger vault project, reports continue to suggest that more archival releases could be on the way.
