Young Thug has officially launched his new album rollout, unveiling the cover art, new merch and confirming the rumored title, Uy Scuti, to be true.
Taking to X, Thugger simply wrote, “It’s time. Red Planet,” with a link to a new site made for the LP.
The site features multiple items for purchase surrounding the album, including a vinyl edition, a CD, clothing and more.

Earlier this week, a fan spotted a billboard that reads: “UNIVERSE HAS BEEN TOO QUIET. UNTIL NOW. UY SCUTI.”
At the bottom, May 2025 is listed with the actual date replaced with question marks.
This comes just a few weeks after Young Thug held up a jersey that had “UY SCUTI #5” printed on the back at the Heat versus Warriors game, so fans figured this was the name of the album – which will be his first since his release from jail.
Last month, Thug got into a social media spat with a fan after they compared him to Playboi Carti over the new album.
“Yall mfers goin have to beg me to drop this shit nocizzy,” he wrote on X.
One user took issue with Thugger’s post and hit back: “U NOT CARTI LIL BRA,” referencing the long-delayed release of Carti’s latest LP Music.
hat prompted a snappy response from the YSL leader, who wrote back: “I wonder who’s couch you’re on tweeting this.”
After Thugger’s clap-back went viral, receiving over 100,000 likes on the platform, the fan quickly backed down and issued an apology.
“Dear Young Thug (Uy Scuti, King Spider, Jeffery, Sex, Thugger), I hope this message finds you well. I want to take a moment to sincerely apologize for the disrespectful comment I made when I said, ‘U NOT CARTI LIL BRA.’ That was completely out of line, and I deeply regret it,” they replied.
“You are a trailblazer, a legend, and an artist whose influence has shaped the sound and culture of music in ways that go far beyond comparison. My words were thoughtless and fail to reflect the admiration I have for you and your craft.”
The back-and-forth comes shortly after Young Thug appeared to kickstart the rollout for his new album with the aforementioned jersey.
Uy Scuti, which is the name of a supergiant star, is also an Instagram account which only follows Thugger and is followed back by the rapper.
MGK has unveiled his high energy new single “Fix Ur Face” featuring Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst.
The intense collaboration sees the rapper turned rocker dive deeper into the hard hitting sound he has been refining over the past few years.
Fusing the raw edge of 90s nu metal with Machine Gun Kelly’s modern alternative style, the track stands out as one of his most aggressive releases so far.
The song dropped alongside a bold black and white video, which premiered across MTV Live, MTVU, and the Paramount Times Square billboards.
Directed by frequent collaborator Sam Cahill, the visual was shot in several cities during mgk’s lost americana tour, including Berlin, Dublin, Düsseldorf, London, Prague, Cologne, Nashville and Los Angeles. It highlights the intensity and intimacy of touring, from packed venues and sweat drenched crowds to the blurred line between performer and fans.
The track was created with his close knit creative team, including SlimXX, BazeXX, RookXX, Nick Long, and No Love For The Middle Child, giving it a gritty and multi generational energy that sets it apart from today’s mainstream rock and rap.
Durst brings a high powered performance, channeling the same raw intensity that shaped Limp Bizkit’s early era.
The video’s look was further developed by street artists Lugosis and Strato, who painted a large mural in Berlin, while Slawn Olaolu designed the character face and jackets featured throughout the clip, adding a distinct DIY feel.
MGK first previewed “Fix Ur Face” during the European run of the lost americana tour, then later shared a snippet during shows in Australia, building strong anticipation among fans.
His relationship with Durst stretches back over a decade, with the two having performed together on multiple occasions, including mgk’s 2014 tour alongside Limp Bizkit.
The lost americana tour is now set to return to the United States, resuming on May 15 with Wiz Khalifa joining as support.
