Diddy is certain he will beat the charges against him and be a free man soon enough, and shared those sentiments during a recent phone call with Kanye West.

In a call between the pair obtained by The Shade Room, the embattled mogul pushed Ye to get back to having fun with music and thanked him for being the “only one” to check on both him and his kids while he’s behind bars.

“When I get out I want to see you fucking tear down the stadiums,” Puff said. “I need to see you back on that stage actually rapping and fucking performing and everything.”

Later in the call, he added, “This shit is fucking sad, n-gga. I’m Puff Daddy in jail. This shit is fucking sad as a muthafucka, b. The devil is a liar.

“When I get out and get that fucking freedom, whew! I am not caring about nothing but muthafuckin’ being happy and I want you to feel that. […] You be careful out there because they definitely trying to end us. They can’t do it and they ain’t gon’ do it. I’m gonna beat this shit and get next to you and we gon’ raise our families and become the kings that we supposed to be.”

Portions of the call were featured on a song Kanye West posted and then deleted on social media over the weekend called “Lonely Roads Still Go To Sunshine.”

The song also features guest vocals from Ye’s 11-year-old daughter North West, Diddy’s son Christian “King” Combs and Jasmine Williams, a singer who is apparently signed to Kanye’s Yeezy imprint.

It also ends with a Diddy-flavored beat switch that features his signature ad-lib “As we proceed!” and is reminiscent of Biggie‘s “My Downfall.”

Meanwhile, Diddy’s upcoming sex trial has been delayed to give both sides extra time to figure out jury selection, motions and disclosure of evidence.

Deadline was in the court room on Friday (March 14), when the embattled mogul appeared for a pre-trial conference. The decision was made to postpone the trial by one week for the aforementioned issues to be ironed out, moving the date from May 5 to now May 12.

Additionally, Diddy was arraigned on the charges in a superseding indictment that was filed earlier this month, which accuses him of forcing employees to work long hours with little sleep under the threat of physical and reputational harm. He pleaded not guilty.

The next pretrial conference is set for April 25.

Mustard has seemingly hit back at comments from Drake‘s producer Gordo, with a little help from JAY-Z.

Gordo, who worked on several Drizzy albums including $ome $exy $ongs 4 UFor All the Dogs and Honestly, Nevermindcalled out the “Not Like Us” hitmaker this week after noticing that he was no longer following him on social media.

“omg just noticed mustard unfollowed me on ig…. Sad day,” he wrote sarcastically on X. “headlining chella must of got to his head.”

Despite unfollowing Gordo, Mustard appeared to catch wind of his post and issued a snarky yet subliminal response on Instagram.

Alongside a caption which read: “We not the same,” the producer posted a video of JAY-Z in an interview saying: “Are you kidding me? Who are you guys talking to? What have you done to even have an opinion on what I been doing? You done nothing to even have an opinion.”

Mustard hasn’t exactly been quiet about his disdain for Drake throughout the 6 God’s beef with Kendrick Lamar which erupted last year.

The multi-platinum producer and DJ graced the stage at Tyler, The Creator‘s Camp Flog Gnaw last November, where he surprised the crowd by appearing to cue up Drizzy’s Take Care hit “Crew Love” with The Weeknd.

Before the song could kick into gear, however, Mustard jumped on the mic and yelled, “Sike!” before quickly pivoting to Kendrick, Future and Metro Boomin‘s “Like That,” the blistering collaboration that ignited the heated feud between the Hip Hop titans.

In an interview with the Los Angeles Times months earlier, the 10 Summers hitmaker took a shot at Drake’s character while ruling out a reunion with his “Who Do You Love?” collaborator.

“I don’t think I want to make a song with that dude. He’s a strange guy,” he said matter-of-factly.

Mustard would also offer Drake some advice on how to bounce back from the beef, saying to Big Boy: “I’m not speaking at Drake or for him, but a lot of shit that’s going on — the tactics, the things that you do just to get attention. You don’t need to do that. Just make music, man. Make good music and you’ll be fine.”

Mustard also made a surprise appearance during Kendrick Lamar’s historic Super Bowl halftime show performance, joining the Compton superstar for his climactic rendition of “TV Off” which he also produced.
