The mogul has more allegations.

Diddy has to contend with yet another lawsuit. A singer claims that Diddy drugged and assaulted him a decade ago. TMZ broke the suit on Monday, January 3. The singer used the name "John Doe" in order to protect his identity. Doe claims the incident took place at a Los Angeles club where he was performing. He visited Diddy's section after being told he could land a contract with Bad Boy. Things allegedly took a dark turn once he had a drink with Diddy.

John Doe claims he started to feel disoriented after consuming the drink in question. He cited moments of semi-consciousness and blackouts as the evening wore on. Doe admits his memory of the night is not pitch perfect, but claims Diddy repeatedly touched him and assaulted him. The accuser recalls fighting back, only to have Diddy threaten to "ruin" his career if he said anything. John Doe is suing the Bad Boy mogul for sexual battery, conspiracy, and intentional infliction of emotional distress. Diddy's legal team has already issued a statement denying the allegations.

Diddy's Lawyers Claim Suit Is A "Publicity Stunt"

"Mr. Combs cannot respond to every new publicity stunt," the statement read. "Even in response to claims that are facially ridiculous or demonstrably false. Combs and his legal team have full confidence in the facts and the integrity of the judicial process." The statement concluded that Diddy is not guilty of any of the crimes he's been accused of. "In court, the truth will prevail: that Mr. Combs never sexually assaulted or trafficked anyone — man or woman, adult or minor." The mogul's legal team has issued very similar statements in the past.

The mogul has not had a particularly smooth start to 2025. Diddy was taken to the hospital the evening of January 30. He did not spend the night in the hospital, but People reported that he was dealing with a nagging pain in his knee. The mogul got an MRI on his knee, which has reportedly bothered him for over two decades. He's back in his cell at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. The trial against the man born Sean Combs is slated for March 2025.

The rapper shocked the judge.

A$AP Rocky has been quiet during his legal battle. The rapper has not said a word entering the court or a word during his trial. Barring some brief praise for his friend and blog rap peer Kendrick Lamar. A$AP has made sure to be careful when it comes to what he says. His facade dropped, however, during a shocking exchange on Friday. The rapper told a witness not to answer a question during an interrogation. It was a shocking moment on several front, and is generally considered a bad sign during a criminal trial.

The awkward moment was captured on film. A$AP Twelvy, a member of Rocky's A$AP Mob, was being asked what the meaning of a specific photo was. The rapper made it clear he wasn't sure what it meant, but in the midst of his answer, Rocky spoke out. Prosecution interrupted the line of questioning and then redirected the focus to A$AP Rocky's question. "Did you hear the defendant when asked question loudly say," he asked. "Do not answer it." Twelvy admits he heard something but claimed he wasn't sure what was said from Rocky's side of the courtroom.

A$AP Rocky's Outburst Caused A Recess

The prosecution suggested that A$AP Twelvy was being coy about his knowledge due to the fact that A$AP Rocky told him not give an answer. The rapper attempted to downplay Rocky's comment, saying he didn't even hear what was said. Prosecution doubled down, and attempted to get an answer out of the A$AP Mob member. The video account of the exchange is cut off when the judge decides to take a break from the interrogation.

Twelvy's controversial exchange is an unexpected development. The rapper appears to be on A$AP Rocky's side, and even testified that he did not open fire on A$AP Relli the way that Relli is claiming. Twelvy told the court that Rocky actually fired a starter pistol that he kept on him during the alleged encounter with Relli. "He walked around with a prop, like a starter pistol," Twelvy stated. "I seen it on several occasions." The rapper then claimed that the gun was clearly identified as fake before said confrontation went down. "He told him to shoot that fake-ass gun," Twelvy added.
