Lil Baby has admitted that jokes about the viral photos of billionaire Michael Rubin hugging him from behind get on his nerves.

Speaking to Lil Yachty on his A Safe Place podcast, the Atlanta rapper addressed the fallout from the Fanatics founder’s 2023 white party.

Asked by his “SaintLaurentYSL” collaborator about the criticism he’s received over the pictures, Baby said: “I don’t play with n-ggas, period. No funny, weird shit. Mike’s happy to see me and he runs up on me. I got 10 other pictures. I’m telling Mike, ‘I’ll break your neck in this bitch.’ But we play like that.

“They white so they don’t really understand. Even before the picture come out and went viral, I told Mike, ‘I can’t have pictures like that [coming out], even though you playing.’ Bruh, there’s 100 people at the party; there’s nothing weird we could be doing.”

The My Turn MC even revealed that he obtained security footage from the party and considered posting it online to silence the trolls, but ultimately decided against it.

“When that picture came out, I literally made Mike Rubin go to his security camera at his house, go to the footage and get the whole time,” he said. “I ain’t even gonna post that shit on the internet. I’m just like, ‘Fuck that shit.’

“I ain’t even trying to make it into this, make it into that. All that type shit really bothers me. Certain shit just can’t be on your name.”

Baby also defended his friendship with Rubin, calling him a “super great influence.”

Lil Baby was widely mocked after pictures of Michael Rubin hugged him came out last summer.

Among the trolls was 50 Cent, who posted one of the images on Instagram and joked: “See this is why I don’t go to no party puffy and them at. [side eye emoji] da fu*k is going on here [facepalm emoji, sulking emoji] get the fu*k off my young [ninja emoji] WTF!”

However, Baby was defended by the usually homophobic Boosie Badazz, who said on Instagram Live: “I ain’t finna shit on Lil Baby. I don’t give a fuck what picture he took. Ya’ll can get off my Live with that Lil Baby shit, I’m letting ya’ll know. Yeah, that’s my n-gga. That man likes pussy.”

He added: “Say something bout Lil Baby again. Bitch, I’m trying to get back on tour with Lil Baby, bitch-ass, you think I’m finna say something bout Lil Baby? Get your bitch-ass of my Live, hoe.”

Dua Lipa has described Britney Spears as "an icon".

The Houdini singer also pointed out her personal favorite track from the pop legend.

Dua, 30, said that Britney’s 2003 single Toxic is the song she loves most, sharing that she often plays it every night to relax while spending time on holiday with her extended family.

"You're very silly and giggly and fun and I need to hear 'Toxic' at the end of every single night when I'm feeling like that," she told Vogue Magazine. "It's one of my favourite songs."

The Levitating artist took it even further, calling Toxic "one of the greatest" and saying it has a timeless quality.

"I think it's one of the greatest pop songs ever made," Dua gushed. "It makes me feel nostalgic, but also at the same time, if it came out yesterday, it would be an absolute smash. I love it so much."

She also mentioned that the track’s music video, which shows Britney, 44, as a space-themed flight attendant, played a major role in its appeal.

"The bit that stays in my mind that I remember so well is Britney in a stewardess outfit, and I don't think anyone has been able to make a stewardess outfit look so good," Dua said, before confessing her belief that Britney was "an icon".

"I love Britney so much," she said. "I love everything about her, all her songs. She's such an icon."
