Tyler, The Creator has taken his Chromakopia promotional campaign up a notch by surprising a fan with a personal delivery of his new album.
A user named @ry.k_ took to Instagram on Monday (October 28) to share footage and photos of the once-in-a-lifetime experience.
In the video, the fan answers the door and finds Tyler stood in front of him, holding a Postmates bag containing his Chromakopia vinyl along with merch items.
The two then chop it for several moments and share a hug before Tyler departs.
“When your favorite artist pulls up to drop off the new album. Thank you @feliciathegoat + @postmatesfor the experience of a lifetime!” the fan captioned the post.

Tyler, The Creator’s seventh studio album, Chromakopia was released on Monday (October 28) and boasts collaborations with the likes of Sexyy Red, GloRilla, Lil Wayne, Childish Gambino and ScHoolboy Q.
The vinyl version also features a verse from Playboi Carti, as well as a bonus track called “Mother.”
The album arrived a few hours after Tyler premiered the album during a sold-out listening event at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California.
The $5-a-ticket show saw the Odd Future founder dressed in a black mask and military uniform while stood on green-lit shipping containers inside the recently-opened $2 billion home of the Los Angeles Clippers.
After performing the album in its entirety for the very first time, Tyler gave a brief speech to the crowd where he explained the inspiration behind Chromakopia.
“This album originally started [with me] growing up in these areas. I was like, ‘Oh shit, no one knows anything about me from before, like, 17,’” he said.
“The album kinda just turned into me taking a bunch of shit my mom told me as a kid. Now that I’m 33, all of that stuff is like ‘Oh, that’s what the fuck she was talking about!’”
He added: “People are getting older, folks are having kids and families, and all I got is a new Ferrari. I’m gaining weight, I got a gray hair on my chest.
“Life is life-ing and I just wanted to write about stuff that I think about when I’m dolo. And I’m happy that y’all got to experience it in my hometown.”
David Lee Roth made an unexpected appearance at the Stagecoach Festival on Saturday evening, stepping onto the stage with Teddy Swims to perform “Jump,” the iconic 1984 hit by Van Halen.
During his Stagecoach set, Swims welcomed Roth after running through his recent single “Mr. Know It All” along with “Some Things I’ll Never Know,” both taken from his debut studio album I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy (Part 1), which arrived in September 2023.
This moment marked the third straight festival where the two have shared the stage. Swims previously invited Roth out during recent sets at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, where he introduced him as “David Lee Roth from the best band of all time, Van Halen,” before they kicked into “Jump” together.
The latest performance unfolded during a chaotic night at Stagecoach, as strong winds earlier in the evening led to a temporary evacuation of the grounds and forced several changes to the schedule, including removing artists such as Journey and Riley Green from the lineup.
The evacuation came after powerful gusts swept through the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, the site of the festival. An “emergency evacuation” notice appeared on screens across the venue, urging attendees to “move quickly and calmly to the nearest exit,” while alerts sent through the festival’s official app instructed people to clear the area.
The interruption impacted several stages, with the Mane Stage sitting between sets when the evacuation alert was issued. Wind conditions had been intensifying throughout the day, with stronger gusts arriving in the evening as part of a regional wind advisory.
Even with the disruption, Swims’ set ultimately continued, and Roth’s surprise appearance stood out as one of the biggest highlights of the night as fans returned once the festival resumed.
Stagecoach, one of the largest country music festivals in the United States, takes place every year at the same location as the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival and regularly draws tens of thousands of fans.
