Meek Mill has clarified his relationship with Drake after recently shouting out Drizzy’s biggest rival, Kendrick Lamar.

The Philly rapper was answering questions on X (formerly Twitter) on Thursday (September 19) when he revealed his surprising thoughts on The 6 God and K.Dot.

One user asked: “What’s your Top 3 west coast rappers dead or alive #AskMeek?” Meek answered: “Tupacsnoop Kendrick no order!!!”

Another user responded: “Meek Kendrick is not your favorite stop lien.” Meek said: “In the west coast never said he’s my favorite most lyrical effective of my era from the west… fuck you want me to lie!? lol.”

A third replied: “Kendrick make the list after knocking Drake down a few pegs for ya?”

Meek rebutted with: “Nah I fuck with drake he cool him and Kendrick beef has nothing to do with me I fw k dot too I have all their disses on my playlist right now MeekMill.lnk.to/cybertruck.”

Though Meek Mill said that he has nothing to do with the beef between Kendrick and Drake, not everyone believes those claims.

Back in May, Akademiks accused the “Dreams and Nightmares” rapper of being the catalyst for Drake and Kendrick Lamar‘s history-making back and forth.

During his appearance on an episode of the Full Send podcast, the polarizing media personality explained why he blamed Meek – despite not having anything to do with the beef between K. Dot and Drizzy.

“What we’re seeing even with Drake and Kendrick – it’s Meek Mill’s fault,” he began.

He went on to explain that Meek should have and could have taken Drake out during their own feud in 2015, as Meek had the upper hand as the seasoned battle rapper against the Canadian child star.

“So now it’s given Drake the level of confidence to say, ‘Yo I’ve defeated the battlers of the battlers. These guys really don’t wanna see me.’ … And now we realize Meek Mill – as 50 Cent said – is a special type of stupid. Like literally, anybody could have defeated him. I defeated him on Twitter [and] he just blocked me.

“The guy is so dumb. He’s one of the few people that you’re like, maybe we gave Drake too much credit for beating this guy. … Meek has a remedial, slower person’s brain. If you put an actual able-bodied brain in there, he might have beaten Drake.”

Ak then pointed out Meek’s biggest fumble was tweeting out that Drake uses ghostwriters at the time of their beef, instead of putting that information in a diss song like Pusha T did with revealing Drake’s son.

“Could have been a different type of battle, but who knows. He’s a different type of stupid.”

Perry Farrell has released another public apology following an on-stage confrontation involving his bandmate Dave Navarro.

The Jane's Addiction frontman was involved in a physical altercation with guitarist Dave Navarro last year during a live performance, an incident that prompted the band to cancel their reunion tour and eventually led to their split.

“I'd like to address what happened on stage last year,” Perry, 66, said in a statement shared across both his personal Instagram account and Jane's Addiction’s official page. “I've reflected on it and know I didn't handle myself the way I should have. I apologize to our patrons and my bandmates for losing my temper and for disrupting the show.”

He went on to admit that he did not meet fan expectations and described himself as deeply remorseful toward everyone impacted by the incident.

“Jane's Addiction has been at the center of my life for decades. The band, the songs, the patrons, and the impact that we've had on music and culture mean more to me than any words I could ever possibly write down,” he shared.

“My aim has always been to give our audience the best possible show, something real, honest and positive. In Boston, we fell short of that, and I'm truly sorry to everyone who was impacted.”

Jane's Addiction also issued its own statement regarding the altercation, which ultimately led to the group’s remaining members filing a lawsuit against Perry alleging assault, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, negligence, breach of fiduciary duty, and breach of contract.

“Today we are here to announce that we have come together one last time to resolve our differences, so that the legacy of Jane's Addiction will remain the work the four of us created together,” the band wrote, signaling that the group would not move forward with Perry. “We now look forward to the future as we embark on our separate musical and creative endeavors.”
