Cardi B has admitted that she “hated” living in Atlanta as she goes through a divorce from ATL native Offset.

Bardi took to Instagram Live on Thursday (August 22), and seemed to take inadvertent shots at her soon-to-be ex-husband’s hometown.

She explained that she was in New York for label meetings and actually lived in New Jersey with her children, despite many assuming she lived in Atlanta with the former Migos rapper.

She explained: “I don’t live in Atlanta. I have a house in Atlanta. I only go to Atlanta like three or four times a year. And probably I go for a week, maybe less. I tried to move to Atlanta in 2018 and I lived there for like six months. And I hated it. I don’t have not one friend in Atlanta, and I don’t have not even one family member in Atlanta. So I just don’t like Atlanta.”

During that same Instagram Live session, Pooh Shiesty made a move on the pregnant rapper.

The currently incarcerated Shiesty popped up in the comments section and wrote: “I’m 5 mins away baby open the door.”

Offset, who is divorcing Cardi despite the fact she is pregnant with their third child, seemingly referenced Shiesty hitting on his estranged wife on by posting a number of laughing emojis on X (formerly Twitter).

Cardi filed for divorce from Offset for the second time at the beginning of this month after previously announcing their split.

A source close to the couple told TMZ that the divorce filing was “a long time coming” and the couple have simply been growing apart for a while.

The insider added that Cardi and Offset made an effort to reconcile earlier this year, but were unable to work through their issues.

While the split is described as amicable, Cardi has reportedly already hired a high-powered divorce lawyer and is seeking primary custody of their two children, six-year-old Kulture and two-year-old Wave.

Cardi later hit out at reports about the disintegration of their marriage, primarily claims that the former Migos rapper was not helpful with the children and family matters.

“Ok this is getting weird cause I can say he helps me a lot with my business and the kids,” she clarified.

The Bronx native also refuted that any of her close friends and family would go to the press with gossip: “Never in my career, no matter what I went through, I had friends or family go to the media sooo I don’t know who is this damn source going to people magazine.

“Even wit my filling I’m not askin for child support my claim is for him to only pay for the bills he already pays on the kids and the new one.”

On the same day Cardi filed for divorce from Offset, she also revealed that they are expecting their third child together.

Last Summer, Hot97 had a shake-up at the radio station, which led to the dismissal of names like Ebro, Peter Rosenberg, Laura Stylez, and even DJ Enuff. At the time, there were fears that Funk Flex would be let go as well, although that turned out not to be the case.

Not long after he departed from the radio station, DJ Enuff told TMZ that he believed Flex had a hand in getting him fired. This led to widespread debate, with Peter Rosenberg claiming that Funk Flex had nothing to do with it. Furthermore, Rosenberg suggested that the corporate branch of the station wanted everyone to turn on each other.

Now, almost a year later, Funk Flex is leveling a response against DJ Enuff. In fact, he is accusing the long-time DJ of taking payola. For those who may not know, payola is the act of taking money and then playing specific songs or albums on the radio in return. Effectively, it is a bribe.

Funk Flex Makes Accusations Against DJ Enuff

"DJ ENUFF / HEAVYHITTERS I GOT U FIRED?," Funk Flex asked. "DID FRENCH MONTANA PAY U 25k FOR THE HEAVYHITTER CONFERENCE CALL? DID MAINO PAY YOU 40k FOR THE MIXSHOW LIST ADDS? WAS NORE OFFERED A “DISCOUNT” OF $2,500 FOR A MONTH OF SPINS? DID MYLES BRANDO PAY U 10K TO PERFORM AT MIXSHOW MEETING AND GET ADDED TO MIXSHOW LIST? WAS DJ WAVY ASKED TO PAY $2,500 TO SPIN ON SUMMER MIX WEEKEND?"

These are serious allegations, especially when you consider how payola is a crime that can come with grave penalties. For instance, if someone were to be convicted of the act, they could face five-figure fines and even jail time.

At press time,DJ Enuff has yet to respond to the allegations.
