GloRilla has given “TGIF” a meteorological remix, recruiting weatherman Nick Kosir to help spice up the track.

The duo unveiled the clever version of Glo’s hit single on Friday (July 12).

The “FNF” rapper stopped by Fox 46 in Charlotte, North Carolina and began: “It’s 7 PM Friday, it’s 95 degrees, referencing her track,” before Kosir, who also goes by The Dancing Weatherman, cued up the “TGIF” beat and spat some bars.

He rapped: “I ain’t got no sunburn ‘cus I got sunscreen on me/ I’ma show my forecast for the rest of the week/ How are we gonna cool off? In this kind of heat/ Turn on all the fans/ Turn on the A/C.” Kosir may have a career in the Hip-Hop business if this weatherman gig doesn’t work out.

Kosir isn’t the only person GloRilla has befriended lately.

Lil Wayne and the Memphis star formed an unlikely friendship after bumping into each other at billionaire Michael Rubin’s White Party in the Hamptons.

In a video posted on Instagram earlier this month, Weezy spoke about his experience at the swanky July 4th bash, which was also attended by the likes of JAY-ZBeyoncéDrakeTravis Scott, Kim Kardashian and Tom Brady.

Despite the star-studded guest list, the Young Money legend gave a special shout out to Glo for being “the only person who came up to me and really hollered at me.”

The “F.N.F.” rapper reciprocated the love on Monday (July 8) by reposting a clip of Wayne’s comments on X (formerly Twitter) while writing: “I luv Wayne [three heart emojis] fav rapper of all time.”

Tunechi, in turn, responded with: “Appreciate ya @GloTheofficial [hang loose emoji].”

GloRilla has long been a fan of Lil Wayne. During an appearance on Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay podcast earlier this year, she included the New Orleans native on her Mount Rushmore of rappers.

“I’m only 24 years old, so I can’t say any rappers that were before me because I don’t know their music,” she said, before adding: “So, I’m gonna say Lil Wayne. I think Lil Wayne is one of the best rappers in the world. […] Chief Keef. Drake. Eminem. And JAY-Z.”

Glo has some famous fans of her own.

Earlier this month, none other than Rihanna slid into the starlet’s Instagram DMs with a burning question about her new album.

“You got all summer sis! I know dis wild hypocritical but when the album drop?” the Bajan beauty wrote in her message, acknowledging the long wait for her own next project.

Glo shared the private message in a recap of her visit to the 2024 BET Awards but did not show her response to the “Umbrella” singer.

RiRi also recently flaunted her GloRilla fandom by filming herself dancing to the rapper’s hit single “TGIF.”

Ice Spice has released her new single “Pretty Privilege,” marking a noticeable shift from her signature New York drill-inspired sound. But the change in style isn’t the only thing that’s getting people talking. Fans are once again speculating about the rumored tension between her and Cardi B, a topic that first gained attention when a snippet of the track appeared online.

For those who missed it, Cardi B had previously gone on a rant that included jabs at Ice Spice and her manager. Not long after, Spice previewed “Pretty Privilege,” which featured the lyric, “She might talk s**t on the ’Gram, but she won’t talk it to my face.” That line quickly sparked debate among listeners, with many believing it was aimed at the AM I THE DRAMA? rapper.

This added fuel to speculation that a rivalry might be brewing. During the phone call in question, Cardi B criticized Ice Spice while speaking to her manager, James Rosemond Jr. She later apologized for her remarks about Latto and claimed that Rosemond Jr. was responsible for leaking their private conversation.

Now that the full version of “Pretty Privilege” has been released, Complex reports that other theories have emerged. Some fans believe the song might actually target Brooklyn rapper Stunna Sandy, whom Spice was said to call out in her earlier track “Baddie Baddie.” On that record, she rapped, “I know that she wants to be me / But she is not doing it well,” leading to renewed discussions about hidden disses.

While talk of a feud between Cardi B and Ice Spice isn’t new, both artists have publicly denied having issues in the past. Even so, online chatter continues to shape how fans perceive their relationship. Aside from that controversial phone call, there’s no real evidence to suggest they’re actually on bad terms.

Still, as speculation keeps circulating, the story might take new turns. Whether it’s genuine tension or just fan-driven drama, it’s clear that the Internet has played a big role in keeping the conversation alive. For now, Cardi and Ice Spice don’t seem particularly close, but time will tell if the rumors fade or resurface once again.
