“When I was five, it always felt like Britney was singing directly to me. 24 years later, these words hit different"

Halsey has teased her new single which features a sample of Britney Spears‘ ‘Lucky’.

The singer took to Instagram to share a snippet of the track, which is named after Spears’ hit from her 2000 album ‘Oops! I Did It Again’.

“When I was five, it always felt like Britney was singing directly to me. 24 years later, these words hit different. Love you forever,” she wrote, as the singer wore a t-shirt featuring the word ‘Lucky’. You can listen to a snippet below.

“But I’m so lucky, I’m a star / But I cry, cry, cry in the lonely heart thinking / If there’s nothing missing in my life / Then why do these tears come at night?” she sings in the snippet, slightly altering Spears’ original words with a first-person spin.

The original single was released on July 25 in 2000 and was the second single from ‘Oops! I Did It Again’.

It is about an eponymous famous actress who seemingly has it all but feels unhappy and lonely.

Halsey previously released the single ‘The End’ and said she was “lucky to be alive” after experiencing difficulties with her health.

The singer later confirmed that she had Lupus and T-cell lymphoproliferative disorder.

“In 2022, I was first diagnosed with Lupus SLE and then a rare T-cell lymphoproliferative disorder. Both of which are currently being managed or in remission; and both of which I will likely have for the duration of my life,” she wrote at the time.

“After a rocky start, I slowly got everything under control with the help of amazing doctors. After 2 years, I’m feeling better and I’m more grateful than ever to have music to turn to. I can’t wait to get back where I belong: With you all  Singing and screaming my heart out.”

Halsey has been teasing a new album via a cryptic new website under the name For My Last Trick. It features a number of vintage-themed items and stickers with phrases including ‘Master Mystifier’, ‘You Won’t Find Me Here’, ‘Southern Belle’, ‘Candy’ and more.

Reportedly, each of 6ix9ine's luxury whips has a starting bid of $20K.

Back in April of this year, it was reported that two of 6ix9ine's vehicles were seized due to alleged "nonpayment of internal revenue taxes." The vehicles included a Lamborghini Urus and a Bentley Continental GTC, which are both decorated with rainbow paint splatters. Of course, their unique design made them pretty tough to miss, and photos of them at a facility were quick to turn up online. Shortly after, it was revealed that his entire Florida home had actually been raided, and that authorities took several more of his belongings too.

At the time, 6ix9ine was in the Dominican Republic sorting out some other legal issues. Late last month, he returned to the U.S., though it's unclear whether or not he plans to stay. What is clear, however, is that he's unlikely to get his cars back. According to No Jumper, they're currently up for auction on a government website.

6ix9ine's Vehicles Have Starting Bids Of $20K

Bidding is set to begin tomorrow (July 8), and each of the vehicles has a starting bid of $20K, which is expected to increase quickly once bids start to roll in. Based on photos from the site, one of the vehicles still has what appears to be a bullet hole in his driver side window, which sparked some concern and speculation shortly after it was confiscated. At the time of writing, it still remains unclear exactly when and how that happened.

6ix9ine has yet to comment on the seizure of his vehicles, or the upcoming auction. What do you think of 6ix9ine's vehicles showing up on a government auction site? What about them being confiscated due to his alleged failure to pay taxes? How much to you think they'll end up being auctioned off for?
