Cardi B has a few things to get off of her chest with her latest track.
On Friday (March 1), the Bronx native signaled the dawn of a new era with the release of “Like What (Freestyle),” with a glossy music video warning the confident song is only the beginning.
“Like What (Freestyle)” samples Missy Elliott’s classic record “She’s A Bi**h” from her 1999 album Da Real World.
In the visual, directed by Offset, the mother of two cycles through an assortment of unique fashion and beauty looks. She begins the video sporting a lavish, floor-length fur coat, and a jeweled choker with matching earrings, styled with a sexy, black bathing suit. A blinged-out eyebrow moment and pink eyelashes also capture Cardi B’s creative energy.
At the end of the “Like What (Freestyle)” video, the “Bodak Yellow” performer promises “This is just the beginning…stay tuned.”
In August 2023, the chart-topping musician shared an update on the progress of her second studio album during an interview with Vogue México y Latinoamérica.
“So stay tuned because it will be released very soon,” explained the rapper in a translated copy of the conversation. “I also have plans in the world of cinema. In fact, I have plans to do everything I can: fashion, branding, I want to do it all, honey.”

Eric Bellinger and Sevyn Streeter are the perfect duo in the “Drop” music video. Directed by Apex Visions, the visual brings the two R&B singers together for a fun, synchronized groove. The track comes from Eric Bellinger’s The Rebirth 3: The Party & The Bedroom album released in March.
“‘Drop’ has been a fan favorite since the album dropped!” detailed Bellinger per The Hype Magazine. “I knew I wanted to shoot a video from the second we finished recording. Me and Sevyn felt it was necessary to make sure the video felt like the party that the song is, so we also included some fire grooves to keep the energy on 100!”
