Drake’s once-secretive relationship with Sophie Brussaux may have been used against him by Pusha T during their war of words in 2018, but it appears the 6 God has finally embraced the jokes about him having a child with a former porn star.

The Toronto native was spotted letting off some steam at the Queens, New York strip club Starlets last week during his 10-day stint in the Big Apple on his It’s All a Blur Tour.

Elsewhere in the video, which was posted on Sunday (July 30), Drake revealed the number one quality he’s looking for in a woman (“Humor. If she watches this and it’s not funny to her, it’s a dub”) and shared his pick for the city with “the biggest density of tingz.”

“Density of tingz? Damn!” he answered after letting out a whistle. “Denver.”

When asked to share some words of wisdom for those watching the interview, the Toronto native channeled his inner-New Yorker by replying: “Suck my dick, ju heard?”

Drake and Sophie Brussaux — who previously starred in adult films under the name Rosee Divine — welcomed their son, Adonis, on October 11, 2017. The pair were first spotted on a date in Amsterdam in January 2017 during Drizzy’s Boy Meets World Tour.

Months later, TMZ reported that Brussaux was pregnant and had hired a high-powered lawyer to demand a paternity test and begin child support proceedings.

Drake had allegedly texted her demanding her to get an abortion and accusing her of keeping the baby for financial gain. A rep for the rap star, however, said that “he would do the right thing by the child” if it turned out to be his.

Adonis’ birth largely flew under the radar until Pusha T publicized his existence on his scathing 2018 diss song “The Story of Adidon.”

“Sophie knows better as your baby mother/ Cleaned her up for IG, but the stench is on her/ A baby’s involved, it’s deeper than rap/ We talkin’ character, let me keep with the facts,” he taunted on the track.

“You are hiding a child, let that boy come home/ Deadbeat mothafucka playin’ border patrol, ooh/ Adonis is your son/ And he deserves more than an Adidas press run; that’s real/ Love that baby, respect that girl/ Forget she’s a porn star, let her be your world, yuugh!”

While Drake and Sophie Brussaux met just twice, as he claimed on “March 14,” the pair have maintained a cordial relationship in more recent years, at least from the outside looking in.

“Co-parent of the year, we figured out a rapport,” the OVO hitmaker rapped on his 2021 song “Champagne Poetry” following a handful of not-so-flattering lyrical references to his baby mother.

Last year, Brussaux — who is now an artist and painter — wished Drake a happy Father’s Day on Instagram, calling him an “amazing” dad.

“Happy Father’s Day @champagnepapi so grateful for the amazing father you are to our son,” she wrote next to a photo of her and Adonis posing in front of a huge painting of the father and son duo.

Mariah The Scientist's attorney has demanded a jury trial.

Earlier this year, footage of Mariah The Scientist and a woman named Cleopatra Dues allegedly getting into a brawl at an Atlanta club left social media users shocked. Reportedly, Dues told police that Mariah allegedly approached her and ripped off her wig, then proceeded to drag her across the floor of Cavo Kitchen and Cocktail Lounge. She insists that she never interacted with Mariah until the alleged incident.

In May, Mariah was arrested and charged with simple battery. Now, according to court documents obtained by TMZ Hip Hop, she's pleaded not guilty. Moreover, her attorney Brian Steel has asked for a jury trial. She's yet to address the debacle but may do so soon in court.

Unfortunately for Mariah, her own legal woes aren't the only ones she's dealing with these days. Her boyfriend Young Thug is also currently behind bars on RICO charges. His high-profile trial was put on hold earlier this week. The defense filed a motion for Fulton County Superior Court Judge Ural Glanville to recuse himself due to an ex parte meeting with prosecutors and witness Kenneth Copeland. The trial won't continue until another judge reviews the case. Glanville also plans to release a transcript of his meeting with Copeland “so everyone will have a chance to look at it.”

It's unclear exactly how long this could take. The trial is already the longest in state history, however, and doesn't look like it'll be coming to a close anytime soon. What do you think of Mariah The Scientist pleading not guilty to battery? What about her attorney Brian Steel asking for a jury trial?
